Class Conciousness and Community

Example article potentially talking about how TikTok brought us all together, helped us find ourselves, extract ourselves from harmful situations, mindsets, relationships etc and find out that people all across the world are just people trying to get through life the same as us.
TikTok brought uncensored, peer-to-peer communication at a level never seen before. That is a direct threat to the filtered, heavily edited and influenced media owned by the ultra rich.
It brought us on-the-ground, live reporting from our peers, our fellow human beings, free from the nationalist, pro-military, pro-government, pro-police propaganda we are subjected to nearly everywhere else.
It’s algorithm knew who we were before we did. It brought out our true selves and connected us to the people we needed to find out communities, our kindred spirits, our future selves.
It empowered women and non-white people which is something crusty, old, unseasoned men in power absolutely can’t stand.
TikTok did something else that could not be tolerated by billionaires: took money directly from their pockets and re-distributed it to the people. So many artists got a following and an income directly from TikTok without the need for a middleman, without a record deal or an agent.
Individuals or small businesses were able to grow and become self-sustaining or wildly successful just off their following TikTok brought to them.
It decreased the time we spent giving money to giant corporations for regurgitated TV and movies, instead finding our entertainment from our fellow regular people. It threatened existing dead social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook to the point where the zucc influenced and bribed our very government to banish it.
Government officials that were instrumental in the TikTok ban bought Meta stock prior to their efforts to facilitate the ban in anticipation of us all returning to these dead, censored, controlled platforms.
It was too late though, we know too much now. We have found each other and we know the narrative we have been sold is so very, very wrong in so many ways. We took their “national security threat from a Chinese owned app” and raised them going directly to Xiaohongshu and the CCP.
While this was quite a surprise to the Chinese users of the platform, both sides pulled back the decades old veil of lies perpetrated by the ruling class on both ends and found that, shocker, we are all the same.
While Americans are already rushing in without consideration and most likely doing more harm than good for the Chinese and their platform, there is also a lot of good coming from it at the same time.
Chinese people are in shock at how much we pay for food, how poor quality our food is, the cost of our criminal healthcare system, how much Americans have to work to survive and how little time we spend living outside of work.
They are finding out that we do not hate them like they assume or were told and we are finding out that they don’t hate us because of the actions of our government.
In fact, it’s just the opposite. They feel sorry for us because we are also the victims of the this government. Sure, we’re not being bombed all of the time, but we are being killed by our own police, by our healthcare system, by our lack of regulations on industries, by our food supply, and by the ever-increasing squeeze by corporations to extract as much as they can from us.
We are drained at every turn and are so, so tired from the effects of un-checked capitalism that if TikTok hadn’t happened, we may never have recovered.
These are just some of the many, many ways this platform has changed the world for the better and how it is threatening an unfathomable web of lies and exploitation orchestrated by the ruling class, religion, and capitalism.
Anyway, thanks for coming to my TikTalk and don’t give up the fight for a better world. We have all the power if we want it.
